It's been a while

Well it has definitely been a while since my last entry. Long story, however I can report I finally passed my riding course and can officially ride. Now to find a cheap littel Honda Shadow to learn on. The journey continues.

Back from Sturgis

I met several women who ride in Sturgis. It was an awesome time but it was the women who affected me the most. I have definitely decided that although I am going to be 39 it is never to late to learn to ride. So that is what my focus will be over the next several months.

First I must find the funds to take the class. Once that happens then I have to MAKE the time, not find it. Once that happens, find a cheep bike to just ride around town until I get used to it. Then find some ladies (have two already I can ride with) to continue to learn with.

Now don' get me wrong, I am still going to ride with my man, cause there is nothing better then having your arms around your man and the wind blowing in your hair, well maybe there is.... But I love that feeling, but now I want both.

More about Sturgis later on... Which will include stories of reversal of fortunes! Stay tuned!

One week and counting and we are on the road to Sturgis South Dakota. I would have never thought when I first met my guy that we would finally be getting there. When we first started dating he would take me on the back of his bike and I used to get scared. Oh who am I kidding, sometimes he still freaks me out by going just a little to fast. Arg, I hate being mature and cautious! But I still love it, and now... Sturgis.... and one day, my own HOG! That is the ultimate goal. We both want it, not that we still won't ride together, but he loves the idea of me getting on the back of one all on my own and being able to control the power.

So watch out world, here I come... and on the back of a HOG. Get ready for the greatest ride of your life, and it started back in 2006, continued after meeting his parents (who ride and have driven cross country on the route 66 ride, and still keeps going with our friends... And mostly... my honeys because that is what this blog is all about, life as the honey as he passenger, and eventually the rider. Maybe before I get to ride my ow bike one of my girlfriends or another honey who rides can contribute...

See you on the road!
